Since 2013, during his first election to the Texas House of Representatives, Allyn Media has served as lead strategist and “keeper of the message” for Republican Morgan Meyer. In this critical campaign, Allyn Media’s responsibilities included the campaign’s polling, message strategy, earned media efforts, social media, paid phone program and creating and overseeing production and placement of TV, radio, direct mail, billboards, website, print and other communications. Allyn Media helped Rep. Meyer defeat an extremely well-funded opponent, Chart Westcott, in his first primary. The campaign was heated and full of personal attacks against Rep. Meyer, but together Allyn Media and Rep. Meyer worked tirelessly to deflect these attacks and to convert them to motivate voters in his support, defeating his opponent in a runoff 74% to 25%.
In his third term as a state Representative, Morgan served as Chair of the House General Investigating Committee as well as on the Public Education Committee and Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence Committee.
